Pick Blueberries and Blackberries while you can!
This has been a year to get those boots out and put them to good use! Pick some delicious blueberries and/or blackberries ALL Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays in JUNE. Morning pick: 8-11 AM and evening pick: 5-9PM We supply 2 and a half quart buckets, which are $15. Each bucket has a liner. You keep the liner to carry your berries home. We are open rain or shine, and boots have come in handy this past week. It’s been fun to see all the colors, shapes and sizes.
How Long is Berry Season?
The 2021 season began later than usual, so we are hoping that we can still pick in early July, but that is not a guarantee. Normally, berry picking season winds down at the end of June. It’s best to get ’em while you can.
This past week
It has been rainy and drizzly, but not stormy. If you have plans to come out, don’t let a little rain stop you. Lots of folks have come prepared for the weather even though a lot of the time the umbrellas and raincoats haven’t been needed. This is Georgia weather – it changes every twenty minutes. Sometimes you need a sun hat, sometimes you need boots, and sometimes you need them both. Berry season doesn’t last forever, so we hope to see you soon.
